ABOUT US
We are a nonprofit that works with young adults ages 18-25 who have aged out of the foster care system. Many of these youth feel lost and alone. They are now on their own and have no place to live. They need our support to help them find their way to becoming emotionally stable and financially independent.
UP Mentoring began as a program with Voices for Children in the Brazos Valley, and over time has transitioned into its own program. A dedicated group of volunteers saw the need for UP in our region and worked tirelessly to secure funding to ensure the program's success. In 2018 UP Mentoring obtained it’s 501(c)(3) status and in 2019 hired a program coordinator.
